Andersen in Palestine, in partnership with Andersen in Qatar, has concluded a study for the benefit of the Qatari General Tax Authority titled “Banking Secrecy and Tax Control in Qatar,” during which Andersen in Palestine’s team developed proposals for legislative amendments of Qatari legislation related to the issue of lifting bank secrecy to activate tax control; and held several discussions with special representatives from the Qatari Tax Authority and Qatar Central Bank.
Andersen concluded this study in Palestine’s team led by Mahmoud Abu Sway, PhD (a lead researcher and supervisor) and Anat Deek (Research Assistant).
This study reflects Andersen in Palestine’s vision to provide unique and specialized legal services that contribute to advancing legal frameworks on a local, regional, and international level.
