Yara Abu Meizer is a certified attorney and distinguished legal professional recognized for her expertise in developing strategic legal solutions that support the growth objectives of entrepreneurs. With a strong background in corporate law and a passion for emerging technologies and innovative business models, she has successfully guided numerous startups, investors, donors, and incubators across diverse industries.

Yara holds an LL.M in International Law with distinction from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and an LL.B in Law from Birzeit University, and a Law Diploma from Sciences Po (France), which provide her with a solid foundation in legal theory and practice. Her specialized areas include startup formation and structuring, contract negotiation, intellectual property protection, and regulatory compliance.

As Head of the Entrepreneurship and Startup Department at Andersen in Palestine, Yara leads initiatives focused on fostering innovation and driving growth within the entrepreneurial community. She collaborates closely with donors and investors, providing strategic legal counsel. Yara has contributed significantly to impactful projects such as advising on the development of local data privacy and protection laws in collaboration with the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), conducting a legal benchmarking study on financial leasing law for the Palestinian Capital Market Authority (BREB), and supporting legal frameworks for digital rights advocacy and policy development with the Palestinian Information Technology Association of Companies (PITA). Her expertise also extends to providing legal guidance on project development and governance for initiatives of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in Palestine.

Yara has also provided legal counsel to key startup clients such as Logestechs, 525k Global, Digital Palestine, Jeelcode, Hakini, and numerous others. Yara's contributions have been instrumental in shaping legal landscapes and supporting startup ecosystems in Palestine and beyond.
