The Article discusses the importance of decentralization in managing family businesses compared to centralization. The article highlights the importance of choosing the appropriate system for family businesses. Although the central system, is useful at a particular stage; the decentralized system becomes vital in other stages because it allows successors and employees to be given greater confidence and motivates them to improve their performance, in addition to taking strategic decisions without assistance from the founder, which enhances the development of their independence and leadership skills.
